Central to this commitment is our dedicated Child Safety Officer (CSO). As part of the NRJFC committee, the CSO works to support a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for every child within our club.
As the club’s key contact for any safety concerns or incidents, the CSO ensures our practices align with child safety legislation and the Victorian Child Safe Standards. They also manage Working with Children Check records, promote awareness, and respond to issues discreetly and appropriately helping to embed a strong culture of care, accountability, and protection throughout the club.
This role is essential in upholding the wellbeing and protection of every child in our community.
At NRJFC, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for every child, but we can’t do it alone. We expect our entire club community our players, coaches, volunteers, parents, and supporters to actively uphold our child safety standards and hold each other accountable. Together, we all play a role in fostering a culture where child safety is visible, valued, and non-negotiable.
We understand there may be times when you see or hear something around the club that causes concern. We strongly encourage all members to report any issues, concerns, or complaints to our Club Child Safety Officer (CSO) so that appropriate steps can be taken to maintain a safe and supportive environment for our players and their families.
Our Child Safety Officer, Ang Marcon, is here to support a safe and inclusive environment at NRJFC. If you have any concerns, questions, or need guidance around child safety, please don’t hesitate to reach out. All matters are handled respectfully and confidentially. Ph: 0410 459 611
