The Child Safety Officer plays a vital role in ensuring our club provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children. Acting as the main point of contact for any child safety concerns or incidents, the Officer supports and educates coaches, volunteers, and committee members on child safety policies and ensures compliance with relevant legislation and our Child Safe Standards. They promote a strong culture of child safety across the club, manage Working with Children Check records, and handle concerns confidentially and appropriately. This role is essential in upholding the wellbeing and protection of every child in our community.
